Job Summary

As a Community Manager, your main responsibility is to bridge the gap between the players and

the game developers. You will serve as the key point of contact, advocating for players'

concerns and feedback to the development team while keeping the community informed about

game-related updates and news.

Duties/Responsibilities

● Stay informed about game development news and community-related issues by

attending meetings with developers.

● Engage with the community on various social media platforms to collect feedback and

opinions from players and effectively communicate this information to the developers.

● Identify and report trending issues that players are experiencing, assisting in their

investigation and resolution.

● Ensure players are well-informed by posting timely patch notes, articles, and relevant

information about game changes and updates.

● Oversee and manage social media channels, including Discord servers and short-form

video production, as well as train and coordinate volunteer moderators and play testers.

● Actively participate in community team meetings to collaborate on community

engagement strategies.

Minimum Education and Experience

● Entry Level

● High School Diploma/GED

Requirements

● Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with players and developers.

● Excellent written and communication skills to convey information clearly and

professionally.

● Proficiency in Discord and Steam platforms is essential for effectively managing

community engagement.


Pay: $25/hr
